Cough Syrup Deaths 2025: Sresan Pharma Owner in 10-Day Custody

Tamil Nadu’s Sresan Pharma owner was transported to Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, in connection with the cough syrup deaths investigation and remanded to 10-day police custody for interrogation. Officers said the cross-state probe will examine procurement, manufacturing records and distribution links as forensic reports and supply-chain audits are reviewed. Further hearing date pending.
